I used a local Regis Hair Salon in the Mall of La. after Hurricane Gustav, asked for an African-American stylist to have a roller wrap. I had an appt. on 9/6/08 for my service, everything went well until I received my bill, there was a charge of an extra $10.00, didn't know what it was for, paid and left.

My sister had an appt. on this date, 9/7/08 for the same service and the same stylist, her total was $10.00 less. I called the salon to speak to the manager, was informed that he was not there, spoke with the stylist and was informed that it was for the use of a flat iron. I did not know nor was I informed that there was a "a la carte" menu as I was told by this stylist on this date, my request was for a roller wrap, which are rollers on the entire head, not on parts and the other left loose.

If the stylist was going to do something that was different, it was his responsibility to inform the client and let the person choose to incur an additional charge. I am disappointed in this service and would like to have some type of satisfaction. I am not accustomed to paying extra for the use of a flat iron, my sister received the use of the flat iron and did not have to pay extra.

I can fax the two receipts for the same service with the different charges incurred. Thanks in advance for your help.
