I have worked for
Regis Salons as a
stylist for 11 years now. I have only seen them to be fair and concerned with us learning more and becoming professional and educated successful stylists. Its all about working hard and being dedicated no matter what salon you work for. When I first started with Regis I made 18,000 the first year. It was hard work but prebooking and upsells I increased every year. Its a commission based job so the
stylist has no one to blame but themselves if they are o
making money. Regis gives you a chair planted in a very expensive piece of property(the Mall) and its up to you to make the customer come back. At 50% commission I take my 50 and my tips and walk out the door. Regis takes their 50% and pays the rent ,lights, water products and who knows what else. I made 71,000 last year. Yes I worked a lot of hours but I had the opportunity to do so by a fair and honest employer.

Thank you. I'm glad someone actually understands. I've been at a Regis branch for the last 2 years, and I just transfered to Regis salon last week. It kills me to hear all these bad remarks at such a wonderful place to work.

Sally's an idiot! Being a Stylist is hard work and you should be proud of yourself. Great job making an awesome pay in this day when so many are struggling.
